Sel De Mer Candle Company was founded by lifelong best friends, Bhreagh and Sarah - two East Coasters who reconnected after years spent away from their hometown. Drawn back by the beauty of Nova Scotia and the stories of growing up here, we set out to capture that feeling of homecoming, the way a single scent can bring back a flood of memories.

Each candle is inspired by the connection between fragrance and memory. From the salt of the shoreline to the warmth of summer nights or the comfort of home, every blend is made to evoke something real and familiar.

Launched in the summer of 2025, Sel De Mer Candle Company reflects where we come from, the stories that shape us, and the memories that stay with us.
